No 12, on the left, is part of a Georgian terrace, nos 12 - 21, built around 1720 and grade II* listed - see https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1080493?section=official-list-entry. The railings in front are separately grade II* listed - see https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1080494?section=official-list-entry. No 11, on the right, dates from around 1700.

Two parts of a Georgian terrace, nos 12 - 21, built around 1720 and grade II* listed - see https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1080493?section=official-list-entry. The railings in front are separately grade II* listed - see https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1080494?section=official-list-entry. No 14 was home to the novelist Grahame Greene from 1935-40, commemorated by the blue plaque in the centre of the photo (see Image for close up).
