Ghost sign, Bromell's Road, Clapham
The sign is that of batten & Davies, "the oldest printers in South London". The rest of the sign, painted onto blockwork, is now illegible.

Cattle trough, Clapham
Provided by the Metropolitan Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough Association (according to its inscription), but now reduced to surviving as a raised flowerbed. One can but hope that cattle emerging from the nearby entrance to Clapham Common station after a long and thirsty trip on the Northern Line are not disappointed.
