St Luke's Church
Consecrated by the Bishop of London on St. Luke’s Day October 18th 1824, it is regarded as being one of the first Neo-Gothic churches to be built in London: the nave, 60ft in height, is the tallest of any Parish Church in London and the tower reaches a height of 142 feet. The architect was James Savage. The first rector was the brother of the Duke of Wellington. The church was used to film some of the scenes in the 1995 Disney remake of the film ‘101 Dalmatians’.
