Chelsea Telephone Exchange (1981), SW3
Taken on and rescued from a Polaroid 1000, the last day of Chelsea Telephone exchange as a Directory Enquiry unit in June 1981, there was a closing party and I took the photos as a 14yo. You can just make out the short lived microfiche system that was fashionable with the GPO/British Telecom at the time. (This is the only picture of the set that has nobody in it or else l would've submitted more). Mallord Street, SW3.
