Former public library, Manresa Road
Strip away the stone dressings and what remains could almost be a spacious house of Georgian proportions. Built 1890 by John Brydon. It has a semi-circular porch with Ionic columns, arched windows with Gibbs surrounds, and more stone trim on the upper floors. Grade II* listed. I think it's now part of the Chelsea College of Art and Design.

Chelsea Fire Station, King's Road
Built c1965 in the then-house style. Legend has it that the firemen would regularly put up a bed for George Best if a night of over-indulgence had left him incapable of making his way home.
