Crosby Hall
Mediaeval Merchant's hall, built of brick, which was taken down in the City and rebuilt on the Thames, facing Battersea Bridge. Crosby Hall was originally on the site of The Chartered Bank building in 38 Bishopsgate, which was replaced in 1986 with a new headquarters building for Standard Chartered Bank. That building has now been demolished and one of the tallest buildings in London is being constructed on the site.
