Royal Avenue, Chelsea
The northeast side of the early C19 square, laid out to lead to the Royal Hospital. Suddenly, part way along, the stucco leaps from the ground floor to cover the whole facade. Change in taste? Or has it been removed from the nearer properties?

Royal Avenue, SW3
Royal Avenue as an idea was to link Kensington Palace to the Royal Hospital, Chelsea with one road. This is as far as it went about 300 yards from the hospital, taken from the Kings Road of the square.
