Millennium Fountain and Cannizaro House
The fountain is in Cannizaro Park, the former gardens of the house, which are open to the public courtesy of the Borough of Merton. Over the wall, the house itself, with additions, is now called the Hotel du Vin. The house was originally called Warren House. The present name comes from one of its previous occupants who inherited the title Duke of Cannizzaro, a place in Sicily. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannizaro_Park

Cannizaro House
The Georgian-style house only dates from 1900 when the original residence was accidentally burned to the ground. The house and park take their name from Francis Platamone, Duke of Cannizzaro, a Sicilian nobleman who resided here for a few years in the early 19th century. Although the Duke's links with the estate were brief, it has borne his name (although wrongly spelt) ever since. The house is now a hotel. Wimbledon Football Club famously stayed here before their FA Cup Final victory in 1988. Merton Council's predecessor purchased the estate in 1948. The garden has well over 400 trees and shrubs.

Sunken garden, Cannizaro Park
This is outside the south facade of Cannizaro House, and this is the view from its terrace. It is planted with seasonal bedding plants - this use has been restored this year after a gap when it held perennials.
