Footbridge over the railway
This bridge links through from Allt Grove (a little stub of a street off Worple Road) to Dundonald Road on the SE side of the railway.
I've known this bridge for over 50 years, and remembered a passageway that led to it - starting from a point opposite the forecourt of Wimbledon station and running alongside the 'Railway Tavern'. Walking around the area for the first time in many years I was surprised to find that the passageway still exists, threading through between tall commercial buildings that now occupy the site. The pub has vanished without trace.
