Mosque, Tooting
The former St Nicholas Parochial Hall on Church Lane. Tooting: St. Nicholas' Church
There are two churches with towers close to each other in Tooting, this one and St. Boniface's R C Church. St. Nich's is the oldest, from 1833, whilst the R C rival dates from 1907.

St Nicholas' church, Tooting
On Church Lane, and seen from the same spot as Image "The present church building was erected in 1833, but it is certain that Christians have met here from the very earliest times. We know there was a Saxon building here in the 11th century and from earlier in the 7th century there are records of a Christian community" http://www.stnicholastooting.org.uk/ .
