A modern shopping parade with flats above it. On-street parking here, just off the Balham High Road, will be welcome to shoppers. One shop is empty - a victim of the "Credit Crunch"?

Ritherdon Road
The large substantial houses, like many in the area, are now broken into flats. We were unsure whether the sign was to warn motorists or pedestrians! Several streets here are still tree-lined, a welcome occurrence.
