Ernest Bevin School
Traffic queues at a pedestrian crossing on Beechcroft Road by the school, which was renamed Ernest Bevin College in June 1997. It has specialisms in sports, maths and computing. Prominent here is the Sports and Sixth Form Centre, opened in September 2007 by Dame Kelly Holmes. See also Image

Tooting Neighbourhood Centre, Glenburnie Road
The inscription above the door reads "Opened Nov 27 1896". The hall was originally licensed for worship as the Upper Tooting Mission, but had not been used as such for a long time, only for drama by the Glenburnie Players, before its sale in 1974 to fund the reordering of Holy Trinity church.
