Potter's Lane, SW16
The only motorable stretch of Potter's Lane, in effect a conclusion to Conyers Road (right). The lane continues as a path beneath the railway bridge visible in the background to join Eardley Road. The Capital Ring path follows the lane in the other direction, behind the camera, also quickly passing under a (different) railway line - see Image

Potter's Lane
There is a little of the lane open to vehicles, but this part is for pedestrians and cyclists only. There is a good reason - just round the bend ahead, there is a passage under the railway which is at two levels on the right. The first bridge has very restricted width, the second very restricted height.

Streatham Common Junction - Southern trains
Two class 456 trains operated by the Southern railway company, probably on the London Bridge to Croydon stopping service and vice-versa, pass at the junction, seen from the footbridge carrying the footpath from Estreham Road (right) to Conyers Road.
