This is the back of a terrace of houses that backs onto the railway line. The terrace which appears to be quite newly built is at the southern end of the street. Older victorian terraced houses can be seen on the right.

Former St John's church, Eardley Road, Streatham
The church, seen by many from the railway line across the road, was built in 1908 and used for worship until at least 1928. By the 1950s it was used as a parish hall. It is still owned by Holy Redeemer parish but by 1978 it was leased as a double glazing factory and presently (2009) as a party balloon factory.
