Beverley Brook at Beverley Bridge
Beverley Bridge carries the A3 road over Beverley Brook here between Kingston Vale to the left and Putney Vale to the right. There has been a bridge here since historic times, but the current structure dates from the early eighteenth century when the road to Portsmouth from London became strategically important. It has been much altered and widened through the years.

Robin Hood Gate, Richmond Park
Although it is still used by pedestrians, Robin Hood Gate was closed in 2003 as part of a traffic reduction trial and is now permanently closed. Although traffic still passes by within the park, the nearest gates by which cars can now enter are Roehampton Gate to the north and Ham Gate to the west.
