Old Milestone by the B306, Putney
Carved stone post by the B306, in parish of PUTNEY (WANDSWORTH District), Putney Lower Common, by Oasis Academy (was site of Putney Hospital), on grass verge, on North side of road. Sloping Surrey limestone pillar, erected in the 18th century.

Putney Labourers' Cottages
The plaque at the centre gives this name and shows that these were erected on land belonging to the Pest House Charity in 1862. They are found in Commondale and face Putney Common. Another photograph of the cottages can be seen at https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6782320

Putney Hospital, Putney Common
In the 19th century, Elm Lodge was built on former common land. This was rebuilt in 1912 as Putney Hospital. It was closed to services to patients in 1998. It has remained vacant ever since.
Wandsworth council has since, purchased the former Putney Hospital, and the Children's Services department is proposing to build a new primary school on the site.
