The substation is hidden behind St Thomas's church Image and at the time of submission there were plans to relocate it to a more accessible position nearby as part of a plant upgrade.

The nave of the church Image was reordered internally in 2010-11, including new chairs on a new wood floor with underfloor heating, and new lighting. The font remains in the west end apse.
