York Road Estate, Darien Road
Holcroft House, one of a pair of huge slabs facing each other across a stretch of green space. The estate dates from 1967-72 and was designed by Howes Jackman & Partners, and William Ryder & Associates, for Wandsworth Council.

Sir Lamiel at Clapham Junction
The steam locomotive was firing up in its siding at the South West Trains' Depot at Clapham Junction. Built in 1925, its recent claim to fame is its appearance in the televised Agatha Christie's Poirot in 1991.

Removal of old sidings at Clapham Junction
These old sidings, raised above Grant Road to the north by a long vertical wall, have been unused for many years. As can be seen here, they are now being removed. This photograph is looking in the direction of Wandsworth Town station.
