Down 'Bournemouth Belle' west of Clapham Junction
View northward, towards London: ex-LSW Waterloo - the West main line, with the ex-LB&SC Victoria - Brighton main line beginning to curve away on the right. The 12.30 from Waterloo here is headed by rebuilt Bulleid Pacific No. 35022 'Holland-America Line' (built 10/48, rebuilt 6/56, withdrawn 5/66 but was preserved and is now at Southall Railway Centre).

Waterloo - Basingstoke train west of Clapham Junction
View NE, towards Clapham Junction, Waterloo etc.: ex-LSW Waterloo - Woking and the West main line. The 13.54 Waterloo - Basingstoke semi-fast is headed by BR Standard 4MT 4-6-0 No. 75077 (built 12/55, withdrawn 7/67). Climbing up on the right is the ex-LB&SC main line from Victoria to East Croydon, Brighton etc.
