Lots Road Power Station
Commissioned in 1905 and still supplying power to the London Underground network when this photo was taken in 1980, Lots Road Power Station was finally shut down in 2002. The view is from the junction with Ashburnham Road.

Development, Lots Road
The power station, which closed in 2002, is now a feature of yet another new riverside mixed development. It is now branded as Chelsea Waterfront, and will include around 700 homes; one of two new towers stands on the left.
