Tunstall park is one of the many small Victorian parks which thrive in much of country and particularly in the Midlands. The clock tower and park gates are relatively recent additions added in the early 1900s.

Tunstall Shard on Alexandra Park
This stainless steel sculpture is a stylised representation of a thumbprint upon a piece of pottery, intended to celebrate the area's historic pottery industry. (The Alexandra Park retail development, where this is sited, is built upon the site of Wedgwood Pottery's Alexandra Works.) It was created by the sculptor Robert Erskine and unveiled in January 2009. See Image] for the detail of the plaque on the plinth.
