Derelict factory by Twyford Lock in Stoke-on-Trent
Twyford Lock (No 39) is the third lock up in the Stoke flight of five on the Trent and Mersey Canal, which together raise the water level by fifty feet (15·25m). Shelton New Road (formerly Newcastle Road) is behind the camera.
Land to the right of the canal was formerly occupied by the Etruscan Tile Works.
