Unusually this bird decided not to fly off as we passed it on the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal. Teveray Drive housing is by the canal, above.

Canal near Boscomoor in Penkridge, Staffordshire
Looking north along the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal from beneath Cross Keys Bridge, No 83A. Bizarrely, the Cross Keys Inn is not by this bridge, which carries Wolgarston Way. The pub is by Filance Bridge No 84, 150 metres ahead!
