Buffalo in field off the Combers, Seighford, Stafford
An unusual feature of the British countryside. The buffalo are raised by Beeches Farm, Seighford. The milk, along with buffalo steak, is sold locally.

Field near Seighford Hall

Buildings by Seighford Hall
These were formerly outbuildings of the hall. Towards Seighford Hall
Looking across the snowy fields towards the Hall, hidden in the hoar frost covered trees. Side roads and footpaths were very slippery, and despite the bright sunshine the temperature was still a couple of degrees below zero.

Seighford Hall
Looking across farmland towards the Hall Wood and the rear of Seighford Hall. The seat of the Eld family from the C16 onwards the house has recently been a retirement home. The woodland to the right is the edge of a small covert known as Went Wood in memory of local naturalist Roy Went.
