Salter Street with The Malt Mill
The Malt Mill is the name given to the set of apartments in the upper part of the building which was formerly the local Co-operative department store for furniture and bedding. The style of architecture with terracotta dressings suggest a building date of around 1900-10.

Lloyds Bank building, Market Square
Built around 1795 for a local banking institution called Stevenson, Salt and Co, and altered in the 1860s, this was the location for the first branch of Lloyds outside London when they moved in here in the 1860s upon acquisition of the aforementioned Stevenson, Salt & Co. The Vine Hotel, 7 Salter Street
A Marston's house, which is both a hotel and a pub. It was at one time a coaching inn, and is believed to date back to 1487. A Grade II listed building, it is thought to be the oldest of Stafford's pubs.
