Built around 1795 for a local banking institution called Stevenson, Salt and Co, and altered in the 1860s, this was the location for the first branch of Lloyds outside London when they moved in here in the 1860s upon acquisition of the aforementioned Stevenson, Salt & Co. The building was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101195358-lloyds-bank-stafford-forebridge-ward#.YbpWW73P3IU & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1195358 in 1951.
