The Three Crowns, Little Stoke
This thatched pub on Lichfield Road is a former coaching inn and is now part of the Vintage Inns chain. Internally the emphasis is very much on food although there is room for those who just want a drink.

Trent and Mersey Canal at Little Stoke, Staffordshire
This late twentieth century housing development by the Trent and Mersey Canal is at the south-eastern limit of Stone's residential area. Colours often seem to be enhanced when bright sunlight in the foreground is backed by stormy rain clouds.
