Immaculate Conception and St Dominic Catholic Church
In Station Road, Stone. In truth, this is not the church but is a school associated with the church in a large complex of buildings. My great, great aunt, Edith Lucas, was a nun here in the early 20th century. It is unknown to me what took the girl, raised in a strict Quaker family, into the Catholic Church. She was the accountant for the convent.
