Downtown Paglesham Churchend
Churchend is an isolated place consisting of a few larger houses, two rows of cottages and a medieval parish church. The weatherboarded building at the left-hand end of the row is the former 'Punch Bowl' public house which closed in January 2017

The tall white building is 'The Punch Bowl' inn and together with the pretty row of cottages, they form a delightful sight that leads up to the parish church.

Community Defibrillator
The redundant telephone box in Image now houses a defibrillator. The only problem is you can't open the security box that houses it unless you get the opening code from the emergency operator by phoning 999. With no pay phone a flat mobile phone battery could prove fatal!
