Opened in 1888 by the London Tilbury & Southend Railway on their more direct route from London to Southend, the line was electrified by British Rail in 1961. View west towards West Horndon & London. Opened in 1888 by the London Tilbury & Southend Railway on their more direct route from London to Southend, the line was electrified by British Rail in 1961.
