Fawcett Street, Sunderland
Fawcett Street in the centre of Sunderland, taken at around midnight in a Saturday night. The street was almost deserted, as there is little nightlife in this part of the city centre. Sunderland's late night bars and clubs are located a few streets further west.

Elephants decorating the Royal Bank of Scotland
Architectural feature from the 19th century, reflecting the Indian influence on British architecture. I wonder how many people in Sunderland have looked up at these pachydermal additions.
This building was once the premises of the Elephant Tearooms.
