Grade II Listed farmhouse of 1848. Originating as a secondary settlement within the Royal Forest it was in existence by the end of the 13th century.

Old Milestone by the B3081, south west of Motcombe
Carved stone post by the B3081, plate missing, in parish of MOTCOMBE (NORTH DORSET District), 25m West of entrance to Fernbrook Farm, by the road, on South side of road. Dorset 1 (limestone), erected by the Shaftesbury & New Road to Blandford turnpike trust in the 19th century.
