A354 Coombe Bissett
A354 Blandford Road bends left, while Old Blandford Road goes straight on. The A354 follows the bottom of the coombe, while the old road ascends to follow a ridge. The old route becomes a byway and eventually rejoins the A354.

Donkey Field, Coombe Bissett
The field is named after two donkeys, Jack and Jane, owned by the Widow Rideout, the village carrier, who operated the Coombe Bissett Express to Salisbury in the mid 19th century.

St Michael's Church - Coombe Bissett, Wiltshire
Here in the Wiltshire village of Coombe Bissett stands the Church of St Michael. It dates from the 12th century with features from the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries and a porch of the 19th century. In 1845 restoration work was carried out to the design of architect T H (Thomas Henry) Wyatt (born 1807 County Roscommon - 1880). The building was listed Grade I by English Heritage, now retitled Historic England, on 23rd March 1960 - EH ID 319433. Time photo taken not available. Source: British Listed Buildings.
