St Michael's Church - Coombe Bissett, Wiltshire

Here in the Wiltshire village of Coombe Bissett stands the Church of St Michael. It dates from the 12th century with features from the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries and a porch of the 19th century. In 1845 restoration work was carried out to the design of architect T H (Thomas Henry) Wyatt (born 1807 County Roscommon - 1880). The building was listed Grade I by English Heritage, now retitled Historic England, on 23rd March 1960 - EH ID 319433. Time photo taken not available. Source: British Listed Buildings.
