Middle Woodford
On the left, in a little garden, is Image The "Plinth, and base and shaft are probably medieval" https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1197990 , though the cross head is C20. On the extreme right is a thatched house also named "The Cross" https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1130986 . Beyond is the primary school. The Monarch's Way follows the road through the village.
