Porton: new-style postbox on Beech Close
Surrounded by a carpet of autumn leaves, this postbox has been installed in Beech Close in the last year or so, on the opposite corner to its predecessor Image The new design postbox was introduced in 2012 - more rust-proof than its cast-iron predecessors and also of less interest to the scrap metal market, hence hopefully less likely to be stolen.
