Greetings for drinkers
The Wyndham Arms started life in the 1880s as a hotel. It has remained largely unaffected by the passage of time and tastes, so this cheery character resides above the door to greet the customers with a smile. The figure is actually Dionysus, who appears sad to those who leave at the end of the evening. See Image] for the pub itself.

Based in the Wyndham Park area of Salisbury, this former hotel is now a pub offering local brews. See Image] for a closer look at the friendly face at the door.

The Pavilion, Green Croft, Salisbury
What appears to be a folly is actually a 15th century porch from the cathedral. Removed by James Wyatt from its original position outside the north transept, it was re-erected here outside the city rampart and is now grade 2 listed (list entry 1355854).

A short shelter
A small stone curiosity at the end of Bourne Hill just before it hits the A36 dual-carriageway. This area of Salisbury used to be the ramparts of the old town and so it appears to be outside them. See Image] for another look.
