Wylye House
This care home now occupies a former school. Built in 1889, the Gothic style St Mark's school catered for local children from the age of five upwards. In 1926 it opened it doors as an Infant and Junior School; by 1961 the older children were moved to another premise in Somerset Road, and in 1990 the last of the pupils left for new buildings.

Wyndham Park
This park has been part of the area for about a century. After the Second World War a swimming pool was built but has since been demolished in 2008. Perhaps a second set of goalposts will come along too?

Football pitches, Salisbury
A green space off College Street. The area nearest the camera is shown on maps as being the route of the long-dismantled city ramparts, and also had a swimming pool on the site until relatively recently: planning permission was granted in 2008 for use as public open space, with a note that "Although a development brief exists for the site outlining planning parameters for residential development, Salisbury District Council as landowner does not intend to redevelop the site."

This bridge provides a link across the dual carriageway. The road (Churchill Way North) closed a link between the streets on each side.
