Former College of Art building, New Street, Salisbury
My eye was caught by the blue bricks. It was built in 1871 and has a coat of arms and an inscription over the centre ground floor window saying "Literary and Scientific Institution". The building has been occupied since 1977 by Trethowans, a long-established firm of solicitors.

The New Inn, New Street, Salisbury
The timbered part to the left is a grade II*(star) listed building, from about 1500. The rubble and tile hung parts are grade II listed, somewhat later.

Despite the name, this is an old hostelry. It is grade 2* listed (list entry number 1258368). Parts of it date back to the 15th century.
