Salisbury: the Tollgate Inn
Looking across the city by-pass at this disused pub. If I had taken this picture a second or two earlier, it would have had the appearance of being carted away on the back of the truck!

St Martin's Terrace
The terrace is in fact a simple alleyway, impassible to motor traffic, but leads towards St Martin's Church Street and the church itself. A benchmark exists on the corner of the housing - see Image] for a closer look.

St Mary's chapel, St Martin's Church Street, Salisbury
In full, the chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary - a Roman Catholic place of worship. See also Image where it is explained that this was the first Roman Catholic Church in Salisbury since the Reformation. Perhaps the site was chosen as the oldest Anglican (and of course originally Catholic) church in the city is at the other end of the street.
