Lower Conholt Farm
The public footpath has been officially diverted around the farm, through a rough meadow to the south. The farm wall can be seen here and the original route of the path went through the pasture where the horse is.

Pheasant bins near Forty Acre Wood
There is lots of pheasant rearing around the area, as evidenced these bins on the diverted footpath.

Well Bottom, Vernhams Dean
The vicinity shows little sign of real agriculture and appears to be mostly managed for game. The steep north-facing flank of the valley has remained very frosty.
