War Memorial on Amesbury Road
The inscription along the top reads "This stone was erected in 1902 by Capt W Faber late RHA in memory of officers & men who died in South African War". There are nine men remembered.

In search of the M&SWJ: bridge over the Amesbury road west of Weyhill
The railway line was once the old Midland & South Western Junction Railway. These days the line is a short spur from Andover to Ludgershall, used (if at all) by military traffic.
