Graffiti on door of Butts Ash electricity substation
The picture above the door depicts pollution from "Chernobyl" and "Iraq" drifting across the world to Britain. The left column says "world peace" and the right column says "painted by Terry Noble"; an internet search did not reveal unambiguously who this might be.

Butts Ash electricity substation
In Forest Mow woodland, off Forest Front lane, off Butts Ash Lane. This substation receives 33 KV power via two underground cables running across the New Forest from the Langley substation and transforms it down to 11 KV for use locally. The four grey cylinders at right seem to be associated with long underground cables and may possibly be used to pressurise the cables.
