In Forest Mow woodland, off Forest Front lane, off Butts Ash Lane. This substation receives 33 KV power via two underground cables running across the New Forest from the Langley substation and transforms it down to 11 KV for use locally. The four grey cylinders at right seem to be associated with long underground cables and may possibly be used to pressurise the cables.
