The Cloud Hotel, Meerut Lane, Brockenhurst
The hotel looks out over Butts Lawn, an area of open forest frequented by ponies and cattle, many of the latter having fearsomely long horns.

Brockenhurst Bridge over the Lymington River, New Forest
Just north of Brockenhurst the A337 crosses the Lymington River at this bridge. The river is swollen with run-off from the woodland and heathland upstream, and the adjacent lawns are partially submerged.

Old Milestone by the A337, south of Brockenhurst Bridge
Carved stone post by the A337, in parish of BROCKENHURST (NEW FOREST District), Brockenhurst Bridge; 20m South of Lymington river crossing, on the verge, on East side of road. Erected by the Lymington, Lyndhurst & Rumbridge turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- To LYMINGTON V MILES SOUTHAMPTON XIII MILES Grade II listed.
