Carved stone post by the A337, in parish of BROCKENHURST (NEW FOREST District), Brockenhurst Bridge; 20m South of Lymington river crossing, on the verge, on East side of road. Erected by the Lymington, Lyndhurst & Rumbridge turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- To LYMINGTON V MILES SOUTHAMPTON XIII MILES Grade II listed.
