Tanners Lake and shore, New Forest
This shore is the only place where the New Forest meets the sea (or more correctly The Solent). Lymington spit is a nature reserve, forming a salty marsh between the shore and the open Solent. Droppings from the New Forest ponies are visible on the beach.
