Snooks Farm, Snooks Lane, nr Lymington
Snooks Lane in Stygian shade (although no pixels are zero, I swear!). The track at the left is a byway leading past the farm buildings and a couple of other houses. It is part of the Solent Way.

Off Shotts Lane, on the Solent Way. According to an information board, the site of Lymington Airfield, home to the American 50th Fighter Group, flying sorties to France before D-Day; restored to farmland in 1946, and now an airstrip for nearby Newton Park Estate.
