This modern postbox (no earlier than 1994; it has Royal Mail above the slot rather than Post Office) is emptied finally at 4:15 on weekday afternoons and at 8:45 on Saturday mornings.

B3058 temporary traffic-lights southwest of Lymore Farm
More often than not motorists who are forced to wait at these traffic-lights have the added frustration that no workforce is present. Someone has dug a hole in the road, put up the cones and lights, then gone home for the weekend. Never mind the disruption and delay; and making no effort to minimise either. End-of-rant!
