Mid Hants Railway west of Alresford station
The line extends about 400 m west of the station and is used for running round and stabling stock. Any further extension west along the old trackbed towards Winchester seems unlikely as playing fields and some houses have been built over it.

Carriage sidings at the west end of Alresford station
On the Mid-Hants Railway, Watercress Line. The carriage nearest the camera on the left is an ex-BR Kitchen/Restaurant car No. 1973, then awaiting restoration. It is now (2017) in service on the line's Sunday lunch trains.
